Chartered and Registered
My particular expertise is with neurological disease, frailty, trauma and orthopaedics particularly falls prevention, dementia and promoting active ageing. However, the many faceted areas of geriatrics mean a broad knowledge has been essential. I have attended the World Active Ageing Conference in Glasgow in 2012, and more recently in 2014 the Wales Physical Activity and Ageing Network conference. I also attended the British Geriatric Society conference in Brighton in 2015. I am currently studying a Masters in Ageing and Health Disease at Cardiff University.
